Activity Center has provided meeting
and work space for many community
activities and organizations such as: 4-H
Clubs, the Scouts, Optimist Club, Kiwanis,
Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, Dollars for
Scholars, Living Windows, Montgomery
Street Preschool, United Methodist Women,
Marion County Historical Society,
Habitat for Humanity of Marion County
Inc. and the Knoxville Historical
Preservation Commission.

The Neighbors Helping Neighbors office
provides emergency funds, with the money
raised through local donations and from
Salvation Army bell ringing, to those
persons needing financial assistance with
food, rent, utilities, etc. Normal
office hours depend on volunteers: Monday
& Wednesday - 1:00 - 3:30

Self Help and Resource Exchange
Rewards volunteerism with monthly food
packages of canned goods, vegetables and
meat. (up to 50% discounted prices).

The
Good Samaritan Free Medical Clinic is
operated by the Knoxville Hospital &
Clinics. Volunteer doctors and
nurses provide free medical examinations
and health care for uninsured and hardship
cases. The Free Medical Clinic is
part of the Well Child Program.
Clinic hours are the 2nd and 4th Mondays
of each month from 6:00 pm -7:30
pm.
